Extra large vintage 1930s railway station clock by Gents of Leicester. This clock was originally in use at London's Charring Cross station, hence the yellow paint used to paint the clock.

Original heavy steel case with original yellow railway paint & great signs of age & use, original glass & clock hands all in very good condition, Cleaned, rewired & PAT safety tested ready to go.



Gents' of Leicester, also known as Gents & Company Limited, was established in Leicester, England, in 1872 by John Thomas Gent. For over a century, the company was a well-known manufacturer of electrical equipment, in particular its electric clocks, which were used in public buildings and railway stations all over the world.
