1950s East German industrial work stool by BEMEFA a state owned company which manufactured industrial furniture which were originally designed by Robert Wagner & manufactured by his company Rowac ( Robert Wagner Chemnitz ). Post WW2 the Rowac factory's were run & goods manufactured under its state owned company name BEMEFA. 

Beautifully aged wooden legs in original grey paint with steel joints & solid oak seat.

Completely cleaned & made ready for home or office use.

1905 : The first workshop stool comes off the assembly line, the guiding principle " Healthy Workplaces " is born, 1920 : Opening of the production at the current location in Alt-Chemnitz,
1948 : Continuation of the product tradition by VEB BEMEFA ( Publicly-owned business : workshop equipment and metal goods factory ).

Many of the items we have for sale are all from what we refer to as " Real Life ", they were all made for use & purpose. There will always be signs of use & aging which we think gives each item its individuality & personal charm. We clean & repair but we always try our best to keep everything in its original state. We will always give you a good idea of condition & especially highlight anything that we consider may have aesthetic or structural concern.
