Otto Gerharz. who in 1951 as operations manager at Ruscha Keramik invented what we refer to today as Fat Lava glaze. He set up his own ceramic house " Otto Keramik " in 1964.
Sadly he passed away a few years ago , but his son Otto Junior continues his legacy still producing original designs by his father. Still using the original moulds & original glazes.
This design is the legendary Otto rhino, exclusively being produced for Rag & Bone Bros.

Every single Otto Keramik piece is hand finished & coloured, no 2 pieces are ever the same. The ceramic pieces which are fat lava glazed have a natural bubble that can sometimes pop this is a natural occurrence with the fat lava glaze.
You are more than welcome to purchase this item in person & pick it up from our London based workshop.
