1930s BAUHAUS industrial scissor lamp by Pe ha We ( PHW ) Leuchten Dresden Germany.
Pe ha We lighting company, better known as PHW was founded by Philipp Weber in & around 1935.
Amazing lamp completely original working condition, still with original toggle switch on shade. Stamped with the rare German patent stamp D.R.G.M Deutsches Reichs Gebrauch Muster which translates as German Empire usage pattern. D.R.G.M was used on patented production from 1891 to approx 1939.
We salvaged this lamp from a workshop on a recent trip we did to Berlin.
Fully cleaned sympathetically restored, rewired & PAT tested safe ready to go. We have wired with an external cable & plug, if desired this wall light can be fitted intravenously so that the cable is hidden in the wall.
Length ( fully stretchered ) 113cm, Width ( shade ) 18cm.
