Military task lamp produced for use in tanks by German lighting manufacturer Rademacher GmbH. The company was established in 1914 by Ernst Rademacher under the name of Rademacher GmbH. Starting in the 1920’s the company started producing task lamps to be used in factory's, workshops & later for military use.
This rare lamp was made to be used primarily in tanks & on the field, it has a slot mask to blackout the light during combat operations. The slot mask can be clicked onto the shade and is 90 degrees adjustable. The lamp has a clamping mechanism to mount the lamp onto any surface & is adjustable in every direction. The light is switched on & off by the button on top of the shade.
