Circa 1930s industrial British made floor standing task lamp by Dugdills, one of the best makers of lighting in Britain. This was salvaged along with a few other task lamps from the Manchester Woodford Aerodrome which before its closure in 2011 was famous for the production of many famous fighter planes including the famous bomber the Avro Lancaster.
Amazing condition considering the age, solid large heavy weight task lamp with an hand made opaline shell like shade & brass fittings . Would have originally been wall mounted. We have mounted it onto a heavy base so it can be used as a floor standing lamp. It can be easily unbolted from the base & be mounted to a wall or on any hard surface.
Cleaned, rewired & PAT tested ready to go.
